The town Kalka is a small town situated in Haryana. The city is an interesting transition to Himachal Pradesh, the neighboring state of India.The tourism in this city is under development. Industrialization in the cities around Kalka, Pinjore as well Parwaano, is developing quite rapidly, but no impact on the urbanization of Kalka.

On the other hand, Kalka town is famous for its train station. The driving line Kalka - Shimla which stretches along the mountain scenery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
